AHA Jelly Cleanser
Letโs review Cocokindโs ๐จ๐ฏ๐จ ๐ฑ๐ฌ๐ณ๐ณ๐ ๐ช๐ณ๐ฌ๐จ๐ต๐บ๐ฌ๐น. This is one of their most recent products, and actually the first Iโve ever tried by them!
Iโll start off my highlighting their ingredients:
๐บ hibiscus flower acids (2%)
๐บ fermented grape extract (2%)
๐บ betaine, hyaluronic acid, and glycerin
This cleanser contains 4% alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) from hibiscus flowers (2%) and fermented grape blend (2%). AHAs are water-soluble acids which help peel away the surface of your skin so that new, more evenly pigmented skin cells may generate and take their place.
Their packaging is so stunning. Thought I should put that out there.
As for the cleanser itself, I like to use it in the morning. It leaves me skin feeling very clean, and my skin feels a tiny bit numb immediately afterwards, which is most likely the AHAs taking effect. A mild tingling sensation is normal when using an AHA, especially if your skin is new to the ingredient or you have stepped up to a higher concentration, which I have.
Despite the use of AHAโs, itโs not too stripping. My skin does feel a little tight afterwards, but it also feels nourished.
There is a very mild and natural scent of hibiscus. Iโm personally not a huge fun of the hibiscus scent, but thatโs just my personal preference.
My skin does feel a little tight afterwards, but I am not surprised because of the AHAs.
