This toner is a clear and watery toner. It is very gentle on the skin so it won't cause harm for daily use. It is even gentle enough to be used for both mornings and evenings. I have used it in my AM routine and haven't experienced any negatives in terms of pignmentation from the sun reacting to the AHA. I do love using it at night because I always wake up to glowing skin. It doesn't dry out my skin and I feel refreshed afterwards.
