100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder
As you can see in the pictures this is the second jar of me using this product. First time purchased this, I was just a fool in skincare, it didn’t give me any result I didn’t know better anyway. Second time getting this I religiously using it on my morning routine followed with SPF50.
Still didn’t see much results on my skin although I know there’re dozens of reviews saying how great the results on their skin, but I noticed I had less breakout while using this. Dark spots? Hmm…not so much improvement either.
I mix it with my serum which is better than mixing it with moisturizer imo. In the video I mix it with Commonlabs Vit E ampoule.
Great points about this product:
- [ ] It comes in powder making it less likely to get oxidized easily.
- [ ] Affordable as always with TO products.
- [ ] It is 100% L-ascorbic acid powder with a mini spoon. It’s easy to get too much of it.
- [ ] Measurement is a mess here, mostly because you just simply don’t know what is the final pH after you mix it with serum or other products since vit C pH needs to be under 4 to work on skin unles you found your holy grail serum to be pair with it. The Ordinary recommend this with their Resveratrol Ferulic acid which makes it becomes granules rather than smooth liquid.
- [ ] Not to be mixed with The Ordinary’s niacinamide and EUK products. Rule of thumb, also don’t mix this AHA/BHA/Retinol/ Tretinoin.
-[ ] PAO is 6 months so if you only use this for face, you won’t be able to finish the 20 gr jar. I mixed this with my body sunscreen in the winter(only) and it worked fine.
