Enzyme Foam Cleanser
INCI is notable for the presence of papaya enzymes, which are known for their keratolic (exfoliating) action.
This is something like aha, only indifferent to the pH of the product.
The fact is that it is extremely difficult to get an low pH in a cleanser, so washing with aha is nothing more than marketing, where these aha simply do not work (the pH of ordinary foams is about 8, and aha need 4).
Enzymes do not need special conditions, they work in both neutral and alkaline environments, so their use in foams is more expedient.
Enzyme Foam Cleanser is advertised as gentle for sensitive skin, and it is. It is really suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and dry.
Does not dry, does not irritate, suitable as a basic for every day.
At the same time, cleansing from it, although gentle, but of high quality - it removes the remnants of cleansing oil well, cleans the pores, making them less noticeable. With foam, inflammation and post-acne pass faster, so it will also be relevant for acne prone skin.
When compared to enzyme powders, the foam is softer and not as effective in terms of exfoliation and skin renewal. But on the other hand, a daily product should not be as aggressive, so everything is correct.
It foams well, has a neutral powdery aroma, is pleasant to use. It lathers wonderfully.
So if you are looking for a good basic option, then I advise you to take a closer look, Enzyme Foam Cleanser has proven to be a worthy option for any skin type 🙌
