when I use products with retinol my skin can get irritated and this helps calm it down and keep it hydrated. This contains green tea, snail mucin, and aloe all of which help calm and protect and renew the skin. This would also work well for acne prone skin. I have tried a few other products from this brand all of which I use almost daily. You should definitely give it a try.
