Safe Me. Relief Moisture Cleansing Milk
I received this product for free from Picky and Make P:rem in exchange for my honest review.
My rating: 4/5⭐️ (3 stars here on Picky because it says “worth the try”, while 4 stars say “love it”, and for me it’s just worth the try).
The good part about this cleansing milk is that it didn’t break me out. Very gentle and soothing. Does not strip away the moisture and leaves your skin hydrated. It also does not irritate my skin, does not cause any redness or itchiness.
Texture is very soft, but somehow feels quite heavy on the skin. Smells like bubbly water… the one you find in the toys section during summer. Slightly sweet scent. The packaging is very convenient. You can also close it by rotating the top part with the pump. I found it very useful so it doesn’t spill accidentally.
I provided before and after collage. It does a good job removing creamy eyeliner, eye pencil and lipstick, but doesn’t remove all of it. It’s like a student who wants to do all homework, but only does it for one subject.

My first time using this wasn’t that successful. I wetted my face and applied one pump of the cleansing milk and it just felt wrong. It didn’t remove anything at all and just slid off my skin leaving thin film after. I then read directions again and thought I should apply it to my dry skin (although it doesn’t indicate that in the directions, it just starts with “apply to face”, and not “wet your face”). Next time I applied it on my dry face and immediately felt the difference - my foundation started to melt. After gently massaging my face I washed it off with lukewarm water and felt like my skin… wasn’t clean enough. It doesn’t wash off easily, but does remove most of the makeup. It still left some residue that I removed with a facial tissue. It tries hard to remove all the makeup, even waterproof mascara, but fails. I can feel it melt and then come off, but not entirely, and then water would remove some, but not everything. I must mention that I never used a cleansing milk before, so I was surprised to not see any foam and bubbles. I think the best way I can describe it is this: imagine the light body lotion, the one you would use during summer to moisturizer your body, something like a Nivea lotion, and then you put it on your face, spread it and wash it off. That’s how I felt using it. It doesn’t give a stripping feeling, so that’s a plus. But it also doesn’t give me a clean feeling. Except for the mornings, when I don’t have anything on my face then it feels nice to use it.
So the bad part about this cleansing milk is that it just doesn’t do enough to clean your face. Besides, for me personally, the texture was a bit unusual. Turned out I prefer foaming cleansers. But that’s just the preference of mine that I though is worth mentioning.
