Pinkberry Firming Sleep Mask
11 huesday pinkberry firming sleep mask review 💫
🌸 this sleep mask is aimed at those with dry, dull and lifeless skin. It is supposed to provide an anti-aging effect by giving the skin antioxidants and minerals from 10 berry-extracts (açaí, blueberry, goji etc). In addition it contains amino acids, peptides and collagens to make the skin soft and elastic.
🌸 this product contains no parabens, no alcohol and so sulfates
🌸 I received this as a sample as part of another order, but the original comes in a opaque light pink tub with a screw-on lid. I wish it came in a tube instead to avoid you having to dip your fingers directly into the product every night. A tube would probably also be better suited for some non-able bodied consumers
🌸 this product had no noticeable scent on application
🌸 the texture is like a light cream, not at all gel or serum-like as many night masks I’ve tried. It applies nicely, sinks into the skin fast and doesn’t leave any residue or sticky feeling. If you have dry skin, you will have to follow up with a night cream tho, cause it is not thick enough on its own in my experience
🌸 the price point is okay, at about 27 dollars in my country (Norway, 298NOK)
🥀 unfortunately, this night mask stung and irritated my skin from the second I put it on. It made the skin around my eyes super red to the point where I had to wipe it off and apply a ceramide-based cream instead
🥀 I was of course (due to it being a sample) only able to use it for one night, but this sleep mask gave me absolutely no results. My skin looked more dehydrated and irritated than normal when I woke up even. Even if I had the full size tub, I wouldn’t have used it for more than one night
🥀 absolutely not worth the price IMO. If you are looking for a sleeping mask that promises the same results and actually delivers, I would recommend the hyalu-cica sleeping mask from skin1004.
