Shirojyun Premium Whitening Milk
Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Whitening Lotion
๐ Ingredients: tranexamic acid, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, hyaluronic acid, glycerin
Texture: slightly milky, viscous
No fragrance
How I use it: I use around 5 to 6 drops, pour it into my palms and pat it into my skin.
My experience: I have been wanting to try this toner ever since I came to know it has tranexamic acid in it. The earlier version had arbutin and I was already using other products with this ingredient so never bothered purchasing it. I opted for the premium version because I prefer thicker consistency for toners. I use this as a second step in my morning routine and love the way this plumps up my skin. It's a beautiful hydrating toner that layers well with other products.
After using this for 3 to 4 months I noticed a slight brightening effect but it did not fade my dark spots. That was not the intention though. The idea was to incorporate a tranexamic acid product in my routine and I love toners so I'm very happy with this purchase. I will talk about my hyperpigmentation journey in detail later. I highly recommend this toner. It's affordable, easily available and you can just buy the refill packages which are cheaper!
Will I repurchase? Yes. This line contains a gel cream and I plan on trying that one too.
Recommended for: All skin types. If you're looking for a hydrating product to compliment your hyperpigmentation routine, this would be a wonderful addition.
Nothing bad to say about this product
