Relief Chamomile Treatment Balm
What it is: you can use it as a spot treatment, all over as a soothing moisturizer or as a sleeping pack when applied a little thicker in the evening.
The narrow tip makes it easier to get as little or as much as you like out of the 30ml-tube. -Very convenient!
Due to the high content of Chamomile and Terpineol (from Tea Tree Oil), it has a very earthy Chamomile scent... as if you're sniffing a Chamomile Tea bag and then some... 😁
My experience: inflammation?! Gone. Also: what are sensitized eyes (after using Retinal) again? And who needs a little aromatherapy help before going to sleep?
This is what I like about it. It also helped with brightening the post-inflammatory discoloration (red marks) I had along the chin after the last hormonal break outs...
It's on the thicker side, occlusive, but not too much, at least for my drier skin. I think for oily skin, this is best as a spot treatment, cause it might be a tad too much when applied all over the face...
when I applied it a little too generously, I could actually feel the occlusive layer. That was fine for me though, cause I used it for that purpose (preventing epidermal water loss overnight)...
To me, this is a great little helper to soothe redness and I quite like the Chamomile scent. You gotta like it though, cause it's quite prominent in the first 2-3 minutes... After that, it's dissipates. At least on me. I'm not using it every day, but when my skin needs the "Calm the eff down, Brenda!"-treatment, this is what I use.
The earthy chamomile scent isn't everyone's cup of tea and it might be too occlusive for some skin types /conditions...
