This is a cleansing balm from Good Molecules. It has a thick balm-to-oil texture that melts right on contact with skin. This product helps dissolve and remove makeup, dirt, oil, environmental pollutants, and other impurities that build up on the skin throughout the day, without leaving the skin feeling dry and tight. It contains shea butter and sea buckthorn, which both work to moisturize and soothe the skin. Finally a cleansing balm that smells like nothing. No essential oils nor artificial fragrance. I’ve had skincare products where their scents made me nauseous, so I try to avoid scented products. This product does what it says it does, which is remove makeup and dirt that builds up throughout the day. It removes most of my makeup well, except for a tiny amount of makeup. I think it’s a great first cleanse, but definitely needs to be followed up with a water-based second cleanser.
