Purity Made Simple Facial Cleanser
The Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step cleanser was free, but not gifted. I got it as my birthday freebie from Ulta. The video clips I’ve included are excerpts from a longer video that i compiled down to 1 minute for this review. I would rate this cleanser as just okay. I do love that it’s gentle enough for me to wash off my eye makeup, but it’s not effective on the first cleanse alone, so that doesn’t make it worth it in my opinion. But I have gotten it directly in my eyes and it didn’t sting at all. Also, its convenient because it also tones.
I can’t stand the way it smells. It smells kind of like a hospital- I’m not a fan. It’s difficult to get it to foam/lather at all… Maybe the foam just disappears when it comes into contact with my oily skin? Its made to be used for normal to dry skin and thats not my skin, so maybe thats why- I can’t be sure. It won’t remove lipstick at all, so i still have to use makeup remover or oil cleanse for the first step.
