Naked & Raw Coffee Face Scrub
💢Physical Exfoliators 💢 Do you really need them??!
This is @mcaffeineofficial coffee Face Scrub. Am not a fan of face scrubs because am completely into chemical exfoliation and yes there are some physical scrubs which are really very gentle in skin and some masks also which have exfoliating propertie. And yo my knowledge going through the ingredients list is more important before using such scrubs and mainly which has small tinu particles in them, which damage the skin barrier and also rips away required mousturiser which eventually makes skin dry, damaged, sensitive or irritated also.
So, to just have a confirmation I have tried this coffee Face Scrub for some time. Used it 2 times a week for 2 weeks. I stopped my BHA while using this.
What I have observed is......
🍂 The consistency of scrub is a bit liquidy.
🍂Particles in scrub didn't hurt much, as I was having some active acne I didn't do much rubbing.
🍂 Didn't feel any refreshing feeling after using it.
🍂My skin became a little bit dry, which felt ok after applying toner, niacinamide ( I use it daily).
🍂Saw the same results even in further usages also.
🤍 I felt nothing better using this product and anyway there are some really great chemical exfoliators available which are more gentle and doing their work so well. So why wasting money in buying such harsh ones to your skin. Am not against physical exfoliators but yes many of them are not really needed and are very harmful to skin.
🤍Physical exfoliators or scrubbing is ok for body and there is lot more difference between body scrubbing and face scrubbing as skin is more sensitive and thin on face.
ℹ️I got this when I bought some products in @mynykaa. I included this because, I only have this physical exfoliator, right now with me. But, my concern is regarding all the harsh ones.
So, I don't recommend you to go for any physical exfoliators. But please do your research and buy if you want to. There are good ones too, which are really doing their job. Please check the ingredients, reviews from bloggers who tried, then go for it.
Don't recommend this to sensitive skin types.
