I’ve been searching for a clay mask that doesn’t have active ingredients, fragrance, or essential oils. This way I feel confident treating acne when my skin is sensitized, and I think I found it with the Dokdo Mud Pack! It helps keep my combo skin clear without drying me out. That’s a tough balance. I N G R E D I E N T S The formula seems like a basic clay mask, but it’s very user friendly since it’s quite hydrating. Glycerin, trehalose, and Panthenol prevent it from drying down to the notorious crusty finish like most clay masks. But there’s still Kaolin and Bentonite for getting rid of sebum. Sea water and sea salt are interesting additions as they help get rid of sebum as well. T E X T U R E ✨ It’s somewhat dense and it’s easier to spread on damp skin. ✨ While applying it has a slight slip, you can kind of tell that it’s not going to dry down all the way. ✨ After about 10 mins it goes translucent and less tacky, but not chalky like other masks that rely more heavily on bentonite. ✨ When washing off it turns into a wonderful milky texture that feels almost like another cleanse WHO? ✨ Normal to oily skin and anyone with acne. I really don’t find clay masks necessary, so if you have dry skin stick to gentle chemical exfoliation. Especially since it’s getting hard to find things without essential oils E X P E R I E N C E ✨ I use it when my skin can’t handle more actives. ✨ It really helps smoothing the surface of the skin, making any acne look smaller and less inflamed. It just sucks the oil right out but leaves the rest of my skin hydrated.
