ALIVE:LAB - pocelyn review for Forest Fairy Ampoule

this serum is really unique. it's kinda like a watery-oily serum, the consistency is watery but the finish is slightly oily. it absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't feel heavy. i prefer to use it as my last serum step when layering cause of the oily feel. it doesn't have any scent and and the plastic serum packaging is sooo cute!! foiled packaging is my kryptonite 🫠 just check out their instagram feed, it's so bright and colourful which made me purchase this heh 🥹 
as for the effects, i noticed some calming effects when i had a few breakouts. it's definitely very very veryyy slow, you have to use it consistently for at least a week before even seeing any result. it's not the best for soothing irritated skin though. it actually stung my eczema patches even when my other serums didn't! 
in general, i like this serum but dang is it hard to get at an affordable price. i think it's the cheapest on jolse because other websites mark it up so much, i saw it for like $50-70+ 🥲 i'm still on the fence about repurchasing but it's been the only serum that has helped calm my pimples so far!
