𝗛𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗷𝘆𝘂𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗟𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵 ✨ If you are into Japanese skincare, you might have heard of Hada Labo Lotions. Don’t be confused with the word “lotion”, its not. Its actually a toner. Hada Labo has a total of 9 lotions and the one I have is from their Shirojyun range, which focuses more on brightening. I also have the new updated version where Hada Labo has changed their packaging and removed parabens in their formula. The one unique thing about Hada Labo Lotions, is you can choose your product based on how much hydration you need, either Light or Rich. Here, I have the rich version because I have dry skin. It’s not your typical toner because this one is thick and gloopy unlike the Light version where its more watery. Even so, its quick to absorb and feels like a burst of hydration on my skin. The notable ingredients are 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘈𝘤𝘪𝘥, 𝘋𝘪𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘎𝘭𝘺𝘤𝘺𝘳𝘳𝘩𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘦 (Licorice) and 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘈𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘣𝘺𝘭 𝘗𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦 (Vitamin C derivative), all of which are wonderful ingredients that help even out your complexion and help lighten any hyperpigmentation. I actually just emptied the Light Version of Shirojyun Premium and suffice to say, I like them both. I did, however, empty the Light version much faster because I would put on multiple layers of it on my skin, think “7 skin method”. In terms of their brightening effects, I did notice my dark spots fading. However, I can’t really pinpoint it as to the lotion itself being the cause as I have been using it together with other brightening products. Repurchase? Yes, definitely. Both the Light and Rich version.
