Dragon's Blood Cleansing Water
SRP: US $45.00
Size: 320 mL/ 10.8 oz
Period After Opening: 6 months
Like most micellar cleansing waters, the Rodial Dragon’s Blood Cleansing Water has the texture of water. It has a lovely pink hue and a pleasant rose scent that comes from the rose flower water. It’s lightweight and there’s no oily residue after use.
It boasts a rinse-free formula which I have tested a few times. It’s non-irritating but I would still recommend washing face after, even with just water, so that all surfactants are removed.
This gently removes dirt and most makeup, and leaves skin feeling refreshed, soothed, and hydrated. I can use this twice a day everyday without any problems. It’s non-drying and non-stripping.
The product is housed in a sturdy plastic bottle with a pump. I love the pump! It’s the perfect dispenser for watery products like this.
This has a short ingredient list — Aqua (Water), PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Niacinamide, Phenoxyethanol,Benzyl Alcohol, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glycerin, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Croton Lechleri (Dragon’s Blood) Resin Extract. It’s alcohol-free, fragrance-free, and essential oil-free.
Rose flower water, dragon’s blood, hyaluronic acid, and glycerin help hydrate and moisturize skin.
Niacinamide is a multi-tasker that has anti-acne, anti-aging, and skin brightening properties.
This cleansing water will not completely remove waterproof eye makeup.
Although the rose scent is natural, it may still cause allergic symptoms to very sensitive skin.
Also, it has a rather short shelf life of six months once opened. This may not be suitable for those who rarely use cleansing waters or those who rotate multiple cleansing products. A shelf life of one year is the ideal since this comes in a generous size of 320 mL.
