Nymph Nectar Superfruit Radiance Balm
This nutrient, antioxidant and emollient rich balm is quickly becoming a go-to. The texture is mildly gritty, which is overcome easily by warming the product in your hands before application. Effective for lips, cuticles, and the skin, Nymph Nectar is wonderful as a sleeping mask or an intensive moisturizer. I love applying it on top of Retin A, as I wake with both treated and moisturized skin. The scent is mild and pleasant. I’ve also been using this as an overnight lip mask with great results!
The ingredients list is impressive - especially so for those who prefer “natural” ingredients. If you don’t know Earth Harbor’s backstory, you must visit their page and become acquainted with this female-founded and led, carbon negative company.
While there aren’t many ingredients, there is nothing unnecessary or commonly irritating in this formula, so I tried to give a quick rundown on everything in this amazing balm!
Olive (Olea europaea) Fruit Oil-a natural anti-inflammatory, can help with wound healing and is also high in hydrating squalene and protective antioxidants
Mango (Mangifera indica) Seed Butter-an effective antioxidant, loaded with Vitamins E and C, this can protect skin from environmental stressors and premature aging while moisturizing the skin
Kokum (Garcinia indica) Seed Butter-a highly effective antioxidant, this is effective in anti-aging and tissue repair
Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon) Seed Oil-improves elasticity, firms skin, fights hyperpigmentation, rapidly hydrates, and soothes irritated skin quickly.
Raspberry (Rubus idaeus) Seed Oil-combats signs of aging, supports the skin barrier, reduces breakouts and increases hydration
Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) Seed Oil-noncomedogenic oil that moisturizes, can boost SPF efficacy, aids in fighting fine lines and promotes wound healing
Poppy (Papaver somniferum) Seed Oil-non-irritating oil that increases hydration, softens skin, acts as a healing emollient, and is wonderful on sensitive skin
Seabuckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) Berry Oil-rich in anti-inflammatory Omega 7’s, promotes collagen regeneration, helps reduce dehydration, has high levels of linoleic acid, aiding in sebum production, rich in beta-carotene, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, flavours, Vitamin B and malice acid, offering intensive antioxidants and protects skin from UV rays.
Arrowroot (Manihot esculenta) Powder-natural talc alternative that will detoxify and heal wounds, calm skin irritations, promote healthy digestion, and support skin health
Sea Fruit (Corallina officinalis) Extract-hydrates the skin and promotes collagen growth, helping to plump skin and prevent sagging and smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles
False Daisy (Eclipta prostrata) Extract-contains potent antioxidant and skin-calming properties
Neem (Melia azadirachta) Extract- treats dry skin and firms appearance of lines, stimulates collagen production, reduces scars, promotes wound healing and combat acne
Moringa (Moringa oleifera) Oil-antimicrobial, antibacterial, antioxidant, antifungal, and anti-aging properties help numerous skin problems, including fine lines and dull and lifeless skin
Turmeric (Curcuma longa) Root Extract-natural antioxidants and anti-inflammatory components can brighten the skin, enhance natural glow, and fight oxidative stress
Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) Leaf Extract-fights acne, supports healthy skin aging, aids with hyperpigmentation, and soothes skin
Basil (Ocimum basilicum) Extract-with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, basil fights acne, and soothes and calms the skin
Papaya (Carica papaya) Fruit Isolate-provides exfoliant properties and soothes bumpy skin
Blueberry (Cyanococcus) Fruit Isolate-Fights premature aging, boosts collagen production, promotes wound healing, can reduce acne inflammation and help eczema and other skin irritations
This can leave an oily finish, so only the smallest amount is needed.
