P20 SPF50

product review positives
[Description] P20 Riemann is a brand of long-lasting sunscreens that have a very high UVA-PF rating, well above its marketed SPF50 rating. It's long-lasting because when first applied, it starts you off at an overly high level of protection and as it degrades with heat and sweating, the SPF level lessens to SPF50. ✨Claims 10-hour longevity!✨ [UV Filters] Homosolate - chemical Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate (Uvinal A Plus) - chemical Octocrylene - chemical Ethylhexyl Salicylate - chemical Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (avobenzone) - chemical Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone- chemical [Price] I purchased this on ebay for $29.36 USD (converted from GBP). It's not an affordable sunscreen by any means and this was about as low cost as I could find it. But I figured that a very long-lasting sunscreen is worth the splurge. [Texture] Very oily. There are silicones, almost all UV filters are oil soluble, and there's even emollients in here too. But I realize this is what would make it better for protecting skin in salt water, pool water, and being more waterproof in general. I personally wouldn't use this on my face (I'm an oily skin type very acne-prone), but I don't mind it on my body that is quite dry. I actually prefer a more oily feel to a dry, chalky feel. If you apply a couple thinner layers, it actually doesn't remain too oily on the surface of the skin versus applying a whole bunch in one go. [White Cast] No white cast whatsoever. It does have a yellow-tinged color, possibly from the ethyhexyl salicylate. [Scent] Like the traditional smell of sunscreen, plus a lot of alcohol. There are no fragrances added to this product's short ingredients list, and no added colorants. [Conclusion] I will absolutely use this on my body. I'll have to be careful with what I wear as it can stain clothing, but this is perfect for arms, legs, and feet. Will I repurchase? Hm . . . I think I will. Not having to reapply is such a luxury. And while I'm usually never outside for longer than 30 minutes at a time, occasionally there are events in which I am exposed to the sun for longer. (Sorry for the video quality lol I just wanted to show how strong the sprayer is.)
product review negatives
❌alcohol ❌oily feel ❌not as easily accessible ❌purely chemical SPF ❌spray nozzle shoots out strongly ⚠️Do NOT spray directly onto the face. Do NOT inhale the product. Spray first into hand and apply that way if you'd like to use it on the face. Spraying directly onto the body is fine. It's said their sun cream formula is safe for sensitive skin, but this greasy spray formula? I'd have to hazard a guess and say sensitive skin shouldn't try this, unless someone else is buying lol my husband has sensitive acne-prone skin, dry to normal in type, and I won't let him use this on his face. May be okay for the body, but not the face, neck, or chest.

@Skincarebyix It definitely falls into what traditional SPF products used to be, but I think it's better than using up a third of a little Korean sunscreen on my entire body that I would also have to reapply. It's a compromise for sure.
