The first impression is that this ‘fragrance-free’ tonic has a herbal smell, but not too unpleasant. I guess it’s from the fermentation process or the acid. I had a bad sunburn and my skin was pretty bumpy and unhappy, so I was eager to try out this lactic acid exfoliator! After nearly two weeks, my face is glowing again! Yay, I’m so happy!!! I also feel that my skin is brighter too. It is gentle, yet very effective. The consistency is like water. I’ve used it in the evening after I washed my face. So far, my skin loves this fermented exfoliator - no irritations or break-outs. The ingredients list is great - completely natural and vegan, perfect for sensitive skin. I love how it makes my skin silky smooth, glowy and dewy. I highly recommend this fermented Lactic Acid exfoliating tonic!
