On the bright side, this made my skin look dewy after application. With the help of the toner, this indeed brightened my skin and somehow helped with my dark spots.
The first thing I notice about this product is the strong scent. It is a combination of lavender and lemon which is quite off-putting. I didn't appreciate its consistency and texture because when you open the lid with the opening faced down, the cream will immediately be dispensed even without squeezing the tube. I have a combination skin and this is a bit oily for my liking. Also, it's thin consistency didn't really provide the moisture I need hence, I had to layer another moisturizer on top.
To be honest, I am not fan of the scent of this cream. Like the toner, it would have been better if there were not essential oils present that would have affected the fragrance.
I'm certain that is this one of the reasons why I had a breakout. I initially noticed an adverse reaction after my third day of usage. My face became itchy especially on my cheeks and chin then it turned red and had bumps. The next day, I had papules, pustules and blind pimples all over. I stopped after a week of using this as the irritation didn't stop. This might or might not be because of the essential oils as I am not used to having them in my skincare products. But that's just me. It might be different for others.
