It has a naturally pale pink-purple hue to it due to the pink phytoplankton. Has a subtle, calming eucalyptus scent 🌿 💭 My thoughts Despite the viscous texture, it absorbs into my skin easily. The finish is just slightly tacky but goes away once I applied my serums and creams. As suggested by the brand, only 2ml of essence is needed per use so a little goes a long way. One layer is enough for me, the most I've applied was two layers when my skin feels extra dehydrated. The immediate result or feel is plump and hydrated skin. It's also quite soothing. While I don't really see the claimed improvement on my blemishes, but I do believe that my skin looks less dull and more fresh after using this essence regularly. I've been using this for awhile now and I actually really enjoy having it in my routine for the hydration it provides.
