Cera-barrier Soothing Ampoule
This ampoule came at the right moment for me because I had a bad breakout from a different serum. I was very excited to try this because the ingredient list is so great: Centella Asiatica, Squalane, Ceramide NP, and Panthenol combo. And it did not disappoint in the slightest!
π Packaging
The ampoule comes in a glass dropper bottle. Its rectangular shape makes it easy to fit in my stash. :) The glass is rather heavy, I must admit, but it looks very pretty, so I'll forgive that.
π Texture
The texture is milky, quite thick but not heavy or overly sticky: it's still easy to get it out with the dropper and spread evenly. It absorbs well and doesn't leave any sticky feeling. There is a faint Cica smell I'm not overly fond of, luckily it disappears after application.
π My experience
I fell in love with this after the first use. I could feel some pimples forming underneath the skin when I was doing my night-time routine, so I used this and they didn't emerge. It also had a very positive effect on existing pimples: they shrank overnight (without using acne patches or popping them). It also feels very hydrating on the skin so I started to use it both am and pm.
π Summary
- very soothing
- very moisturizing
- bye bye pimples
π Would I buy another one?
Yes, definitely! It's my new Holy Grail. It helped me recover from a breakout so fast and feels very nice on the skin. I highly recommend this to anyone struggling with acne or other irritation. Thanks to its hydrating and soothing properties it will be especially great for autumn/winter.
I'd love to have a larger version of this because I'm running out too fast with both am and pm use (but it's so great I can't skip it in any routine). π’
