Fresh Moment Cleansing Oil
Please note: Sioris makes their skincare in batches and use seasonal ingredients, so the batch from which you buy might differ slightly from the product I use...
But back to my review.
This is a very natural, vegan k-beauty cleansing oil without any scent added.
Viscosity wise it's not neccessarily the thinnest, but also not the thickest I've ever used. I'd call it a tad "plushy" if that makes sense...😅
That might vary between batches, so what's in mine?
The base with 31.8% is Safflower Oil with Grape Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Camellia Seed Oil and Extract from Jeju Island, Rice Bran Oil and Vitamin E blended in (in that order from highest to lowest content).
As you can see in the video it does work quite well for dissolving make up, but I never use it on its own for cleansing, only as the first step of a double-cleansing routine in the PM and I like it a lot for this. So it's totally fine that it doesn't dissolve heavy make up completely. I rather use a balm on those days anyways.
I enjoy using it for everyday, especially now in the fall cause it's a tad thicker than other oils... it emulsifies nicely, too. Washing it off might take 2 splashes of water more, but as I said, that's not an issue for me.
The blend of oils used is very gentle with a few benefits: Safflower Oil being rich in Vitamin E and Linoleic Acid (important for dry skin),
Grape Seed Oil being nourishing and helping clearing up skin
and Almond Oil being so close to the lipids on/in our skin
Camellia Oil being a known hydrating and nourishing all star in skin and haircare
plus we all know Rice Bran Oil is your skin's best buddy anyway...
-so I could even use up a gel cleanser that was a bit more drying afterwards and my skin never felt stripped.
So if you're sensitive, a rather natural make up person and are looking for a good natural cleansing oil that's not too thin or too thick: try this one...
Not much. It smells a bit nutty and the texture is not everyone's cup of tea I guess (thicker than the Pyunkang Yul and thinner than the Klairs cleansing Oil) and the rather short shelf life after opening of 6 months, but that's only due to my way too big skincare collection which makes it hard to use up an oil within that time frame 😉😅
