I love how the serum bottle and the moisturizer tub are see-through, it is a bliss that I can see the pretty encapsulated Retinol beads inside! 😍😍😍 Apart for wanting to look pretty, I also want my skincare to look pretty!! 😆😆 🧡SKINTIFIC Gentle-A Retinol Renewal Serum (20ml): ▪️This serum is very lightweight. I thought that it would be thicker but I'm wrong and I'm not complaining. More lightweight means better absorption, right? It is non-sticky and also non-greasy. It has a mild refreshing citrus scent that immediately wakes my skin and my sensory up!! It smells yummy too! I didn't know where the citrus scent is from but it is truly addictive. ▪️The serum absorbed into skin immediately upon application. It gives mild hydration. I enjoy massaging the encapsulated Retinol onto skin and it melts well. ▪️The next day, I can see how well it reduce the inflammation of my angry acnes and its size. My skin looks healthier too. This serum is best applied with the Gentle-A Retinol Renewal Moisturizer for better effect. 🧡SKINTIFIC Gentle-A Retinol Renewal Moisturizer (30g): ▪️This moisturizer has a very lightweight consistency. It is non-sticky, non-greasy and melts like water once in touch with the skin. It does feel like I'm wearing a water cream product. The encapsulated Retinol is too pretty to handle! The capsules easily melts after massaging onto skin. It gives the same mild refreshing citrus scent like the serum. ▪️The hydration it gives is mild to moderate. I recommend to add on another thicker moisturizer on top of it for longer lasting moisture, for example, Ceramide moisturizer. Ceramide acts positively or synergistically with Retinol, also it enhance Retinol effect. ▪️This is by far the best Retinol moisturizer I've tried! The next day, I woke up to bouncier, glowing skin.
