SCINIC - KbeautyNotes review for Cicanoid Retinal Cream

Everyone refers to this as a retinol cream, but it's actually a RETINAL cream. Retinal is more potent than retinol and it requires only one step to convert to retinoic acid in the skin. (retinol requires 2 steps). The formula contains 0.05% retinal (% that's proved to be effective), 0.05 bakuchiol and 0.001 ppm Retinol which translates to 0.000001% retinol (no significant effect). An emollient cream that’s a bit on the greasy side, but has great spreadability without being thick or heavy. Also, it’s non-sticky. It won't be very pleasant for oily skin. In terms of effect, I have to say the biggest difference I’ve noticed so far is smoother texture and improved skin tone. To notice any real change in reducing fine lines/wrinkles, it has to be used consistently for a very long time, so I’m patient about that part.
