This was my fist time using a retinol product and I was very curious as to how it would go. The texture of this serum is thin, but it still feels a bit heavy on the skin since it's oil-based. I applied it in the evening a couple times a week for some months and strangely enough my skin never purged. I didn't have any negative reactions to the retinol in it, but I also didn't see any improvements to my skin texture or tone and I found that weird considering I had never used retinol before.
The oils of this serum made my dry cheeks feel more soft and nourished, but it was too heavy on my oily t zone.
⚫ Complaints
»The biggest qualm I had with this serum is that it just does not sink in. My skin would be shiny and greasy even hours after application and I was often worried about staining my pillow when going to sleep.
»As I said above, i didn't experience any benefits from the retinol in this product, even after a couple months of consistent usage, and now I'm kind of doubting efficacy of the formulation.
»The liquid is very runny and would just drip out of the pipette and that complicated the application process a bit.
