Lorelei review for Berry Burst

I am absolutely crazy about this purse sized Violet Voss BErry Burst Palette. Violet Voss has become a bit of a favorite of mine for the eye shadow palettes because of the beautiful pigments. This palette has 10 shades, including 4 shimmers and 6 mattes. The mattes run from the subtle to the dramatic, but apply somewhat thinly, which personally, I like. The shimmers are another matter though. They apply much heavier, so be cautious with applications. Also, if you use too much from the palette with the shimmers, be sure to tap the brush as it can get powdery, but just the right amount, and it's got a creaminess to it. So yes, it does take a bit of practice. I love the size and it makes it perfect for clutches, make-up bags, and on the go. Because the mattes apply thinly, it's also great for on the go as you don't have to worry about a lot of blending, and touch-ups are a breeze (though for this, you really don't need much).
