Moisture Dr. Cream
ISOI approached me if I wanted to try one of their product lines. It's a very popular brand since its foundation in 2009 in Korea and their green Moisture Dr. line found its way to me.
I love that each product has the main ingredients printed on them. -The ingredients speak for themselves...
It's made for skin that needs support with levelling out water and oil (hydration and moisture) by strengthening the skin barrier. Since my skin is dehydrated combo, with a tendency to dryness in fall/winter, it was perfect timing for this PR.
I received 3 products in an adorable box, this review is about the moisturizer (70ml).
What's in it?
💚humectants: Glycerin, different types of Hyualuronic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans, Panthenol
💚soothing and balancing plant extracts: Tea Tree, Purslane, Heartleaf, Willow Bark, Calendula, Baical Root, Licorice and more...
💚moisture: Macadamia Oil (containd a little more than the ampoule)
💚Skin barrier support and wellaging/ anti-aging help: Betaine, Arginine, Phytosphingosine, Soybean Ferment, Ceramide NP.
☝️No alcohol, no frag, hypoallergenic and labeled 'excellent' by the German Dermatest Institute in 2021💚 🇰🇷🇩🇪
My experience:
I think this is an elegant moisturizer for dehydrated combination to normal skin, when you prefer a lightweight gel cream texture. The focus is definitely on hydration, so even oily skin should enjoy this. Just like the toner and ampoule, this isn't tacky at all and sinks in nicely.
I've used it as a nice lightweight and cooling AM-moisturizer or to layer my retinol over it before I use something more occlusive/emollient in the PM.
Hm... maybe that it's not emollient / occlusive enough to be a PM moisturizer for dehydrated or dry skin. But that's not to be expected from gel cream...
