MsNIMF review for Pore Cleansing Balm PHA

Hanskin's PHA Pore Cleansing Balm is a deep cleansing balm that was specifically formulated with polyhydroxy acids for sensitive and reactive skin. Formulated with plant-derived ingredients, it starts out as a solid and instantly melts as it comes in contact with the skin's warmth to remove stubborn makeup and deep pore impurities. Polyhydroxy Acids gently dissolve dry and dead skin build-up without disrupting reactive skin, while a blend of nourishing oils softens and maintains skin health and hydration. The solid balm texture makes it mess-free, spill-proof, and travel-friendly. This cleansing balm does a fairly great job at removing makeup and sunscreen residue, but it doesn't completely get out waterproof mascara. So I end up using a micellar water cotton pad just to clean out my mascara. There's no noticeable scent, which is great for those who prefer unscented skincare. When mixed with little water, it emulsifies well and doesn't leave any clumps or oily feel on my skin. Overall, this is a decent cleansing balm! There's no "wow" or "blew my mind" factor to it. I wouldn't recommend it for sensitive skin types though due to the presence of botanical oils.
