It contains 50% fermented matcha water (matcha biome) which has prebiotic to help to ensure good absorption and intense hydration. Along with the matcha biome this cream also contains some powerhouse skin friendly ingredients such as Shea butter, Niacinamide, Centella asiatica and Licorice root extract. I did additionally notice some ingredients like Rosemary Leaf, Sage Leaf, Lavender Flower and mandarin orange peel extracts which I believe contribute to this cream's light, herbal and I would say fresh "green" scent. This is supposed to boost and fortify the skin barrier. Tip: to lock in the moisture, double layer this cream. Perfect for sensitive and dry skin types. My thoughts, this product has a gorgeously rich and creamy texture but it does not leave my skin feeling greasy or oily even with a double layer. I haven't noticed any brightening of my skin yet but that may come with continuous use and I definitely see that the skin around my eye has fewer visible lines. It feels so moisturizing and soothing on my dry and very sensitive skin that it might just be my new favourite cream for the winter months. The light scent to this cream is quite subtle and did not cause me any irritation at all. A few bonus facts on this, it has a low PH of 5.5, is mineral oil free and is dermatologist tested.
