product review positives
For reference, I am in my mid 40s, I have lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores and normal to combination skin during summer and normal to dry in winter. I like to use a setting spray to help my makeup last longer specially on special occasions and this one has surprised me a lot. PROS: It is not drying for my skin: even if the product is best for normal, combination and oily skin, it didn't feel drying at all, so I think it will work also during my winter days. I just spray a little amount though. It has some skin loving ingredients, like green tea extract, glycerin, aloe, cucumber and witch hazel Aerosol spray: the spray comes out like a cloud, so soft! I hate those sprays that spit on your face! This one is a pleasure to use. It claims to lock the makeup for up to 16 hours. I have not had my makeup on for that long but it has kept it perfect for around 12 to 14 hours, even in the Florida heat and humidity. I love the way it smells. If you don't like perfumed products, stay away from this one. CONS: It is not mattifying. As you can see in the pictures enclosed, where I have just applied the setting spray, my skin looks very glowy, which I love. It feels dry to the touch though. But if you want a matte finish, I don't know if this setting spray will give you that (unless your spray half a bottle on your face) It has alcohol and fragrance very high in the ingredient list. don't mind because I don't have sensitive skin, but if you do, stay away from this product. It is a little pricey but I think it is worth it if you look for natural finish and not pure matte.
