This ampoule sits on a base of centella asiatica extract (a whopping 75%). Other ingredients include botanical and flower extracts, urea, trehalose, beta glucan, 3 different molecular weights of HA, and 4 compounds derived from cica (asiaticoside, asiatic acid, madecassic acid and madecassoside). So just by judging the ingredients list, you know that celimax is not kidding when they said CALMING. . It has a subtle herbal scent that does not linger. With that being said, yes this does contain fragrance at the very bottom of the ingredients list. You know how I feel about fragrances in skincare--I try to avoid them in my products. However, this product falls under the category of "I-am-willing-to-overlook" just because of the overall formula and the fragrance is at the very bottom of the list anyways. . EXPERIENCE | I use this exclusively in my A.M. routine and I must say it's a perfect sunscreen partner! I remember trying this for the first time with my verdio sunscreen and my skin felt calm throughout the day (usually my skin gets itchy as I sweat in the Philippine heat, but I never experienced it with this ampoule on). It has a gel texture that melts into a refreshing watery consistency. My skin just drinks it up with virtually weightless finish. It definitely is calming and did not aggravate my already-sensitized skin.
