Dry Shampoo - Cherry
Absolutely nothing, or only the cute packaging.
I want to share my terrible experience with Batiste dry shampoo.
I ll start with background. In my country I had the same experience, I bought Batiste (you know this one with yellow bottle). I am not using dry shampoo too often, but sometimes I do. So after 2-3 uses I saw that I am loosing my hair. I thought it’s something like vitamin deficiency in my organism (even if I am always taking supplements). Anyway I stopped with that shampoo and I stopped to loose my hair.
I was sure it was a coincidence.
So I did not used it something like two years.
This summer I bought it especially for hot weather, because the summer here was infernally hot, and if your head is sweating your hair not looking too esthetics, isn’t it? So dry shampoo could save the situation.
Two weeks ago I started to loose my hair. I waited for a week without using batiste. Hair stopped to fall.
I wanted to be sure, so I used it again. A holy sh*t after I brushed my hair it’s left on my hand, pieces of hair.
So no coincidence, it’s batiste that made me to loose my hair.
Now I am restoring my hair.. Sad story.
But let’s speak about ingredients. It’s just crazy..
Butane, Isobutane. Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch, Propane, Alcohol Denat, Parfum (fragrance), Coumarin, Eugenol, Limonene, Butylphenyl, Methylpropional, Linalool, Distearyldimonium Chloride.
12 ingredients, no one is a goodie, but 7 are baddies. Is it ok? No.. it is not.
Baddies are :
* Alcohol Denat - dry the skin and can even damage skin barrier;
* Parfum (fragrance) - is not a friend;
* Coumarin - has a high allergic potential;
* Eugenol - cytotoxic ingredient;
* Limonene - can cause contact dermatitis;
* Butylphenyl - allergen;
* Methylpropional - banned this year in EU;
* Linalool - allergen.
No comment.. just I had to share it
