Beauty Sleep Face and Body Mask
While I was buying some bath bombs at LUSH, I received a free sample of their Beauty Sleep Face & Body Mask.
I was very excited to try this, as I have always loved their body scrubs, bath bombs, and shower gels.
I should have stuck to using this on my body (as that is where I use the majority of their products), but I used it on my face.
This product is intended for dry/sensitive skin, and that is not me (I tend to be more oily/resilient). It has been so cold & windy here lately though, that I thought a little extra moisture would be nice for my face.
The base of this mask is smooth and creamy, but there are large chunks in the mask. It still spreads easily though. I didn't find the particles in the mask to be very exfoliating.
After removing the mask, my face did look moisturized.
There are a ton of fantastic ingredients in this mask, but unfortunately, it was a miss for me. I don't think I can get past the smell.
Key Ingredients: Lemon Verbena - calming; Mullein Leaf and Linseed - hydratation; Wheatgerm Oil, Avocado Oil, and Evening Primrose Oil - nourish and moisturize; Kaolin - absorbs sebum, and prevents pore clogging; Freshly Squeezed Juice - boosts skins' radiance
I was not a fan of the smell of this mask. I'm not sure if it was because there are too many competing fragrances, but it was off-putting to me. It was a mixture of soapy, floral, and rotting fruit (this was a fresh mask from the store).
