๐ญThoughts:
I was surprised to see that this serum is actually cloudy rather than clear like Iโm used to with most serums. Despite this, itโs very lightweight and runny and when spread over my skin, it is absorbed rather quickly but leaves a slightly greasy/oily sheen that takes few minutes to dissipate. I also can't quite pinpoint the smell - there's a hint of acidity from the Vitamin C but there's also a vaguely metallic smell that reminds me of stale coffee.
From my experience, pure Vitamin C AKA Ascorbic Acid can be a little harsh if you arenโt used to applying it and after several months of using only Vitamin C derivatives, I was a little worried at first. Nontheless, this serum was gentle and did not cause any irrtation.
This serum claims to not only fade dark spots and brighten your skin, it also strengthens your skin barrier, shrinks your pores and smoothens your skin. Iโve only been using this for around 2 weeks so have not been able to see any strong visible effects except my skin looks more radiant during even after a long day. I will definitely update in the future.
Vitamin C is very unstable and oxidises easily, I would recommend storing this in the fridge.
The smell may be a bit off putting as well.
