This mask is made of stretchy fabric. It is pretty thick. One side of it has a plastic, which I needed to peel off before usage. Once I peeled it off, it was sticky like any eye gel patches. I first lined up the center to my chin, the sticky side can be peeled off to re-adjust. The sticky side is cool to touch and slightly moist (but not much so it was not wet).
