Tone Up No Sebum Sunscreen EX SPF50 PA++++
I received this product for free in a Tiktok Sunscreen Challenge from StyleKorean which included 6 different sunscreens to try in exchange for my honest review.
This sunscreen is described as a mattifying physical sunscreen infused with sebum control powder that primes the skin for makeup application, brightens and protects skin.
Key Ingredients:
🔸 Zinc Oxide (Nano)
🔸 Titanium Dioxide
🔸 Sodium Hyaluronate
🔸 Kudzu Root Extract
🔸 Ulmus Extract
🔸 Evening Primrose
🔸 Tocopherol
🔸 Jojoba Seed Oil
🔸 Green Tea Seed oil
Packaging/Texture: Comes in a pink 50ml tube, sunscreen is also pink with a thick creamy texture and has a powdery floral scent.
My Experience: This is the renewal version of the Innisfree Tone Up Sunscreen.
I have used the Daily UV Defense Sunscreen (US version) which I like because it has a nice texture and applies easily to the skin.
I did not care for this sunscreen because it is more suited for those with oily skin, and I found it hard to blend on skin and very drying. If you have dry skin like me, you probably won’t care for this one either.
If you have really pale skin, the pink tone will help brighten, but my skin tone is light to medium and it looks ashy, washing me out. Since it is a physical sunscreen there is a definite white cast. The only way to avoid the cast is to use a small amount, but then you aren’t going to get the full UV protection.
It does a good job mattifying and blurring any imperfections, but it the finish is too matte for me. This one wasn’t for me but oily/combo skin types or those in tropical areas may enjoy using it.
Not for dry skin, white cast
