This product goes on smoothly and gently to give your lips the pucker and plumping oomph that you are looking for. Irresistible! C'est ci Bonne Mademoiselle! M'ais Oui Monsieur! Bessez Moi Cez Vous Plait! The texture is different from gloss, but you can feel a bit if shimmer and sheen when you smack or pucker your lips. It is not overly uncomfortable.

It really has no cons to speak of.
