Watermelon Glow Mask
You guys are probably wondering, do you need an extra moisturizer when you use a sleeping mask? The answer is, sleeping mask is a thicker, more occlusive type moisturizer (they are basically the same thing). It is used usually only for the night since it may be either pill when layered or too thick for the day, but for some people with drier skin or those who don’t wear makeup, they can use it throughout the day as well! Don’t limit yourself just because of the name of your product
.
This moisturizer from lacoco has a thick gel-cream texture. They have a pretty good blend of all the humectants:emollients:occlusive, lactic acid, with some additions of plant extracts such as aloe leaf, watermelon and banana extracts. Some of these ingredients work by strengthening your skin barrier to keep all the water content in your skin as you sleep.
.
The first thing I notice as I applied this, it smells amazing! Super refreshing and sweet (it does contain fragrance). It blends and spreads very easily. May feel a slight tackiness at first, but it dissipates after a while. Leaving that soft dewy yet velvety feel on the skin. The best thing about this product is that it does what it claim to be. Simply moisturizing, revitalized your skin throughout the night, and make my skin feeling super soft, plump and dewy the next day. Found myself a new favorite.
.
I do really enjoy using this product at night time, and sometime when I am not going out anywhere, I use it as a day moisturizer as well! Have you tried this product and how do you like it?
It contains fragrance which may not be the best esp for sensitive skin
