Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop
Rating: 4/5
Texture: Lightweight oil texture that absorbs easily into the skin.
Usage: I dispense about 6-8 drops of this every morning after cleansing.
Packaging: The packaging is simple yet elegant, with a clear, plastic bottle and a dropper.
Claims: This product claims to brighten and even out the skin tone, reduce hyperpigmentation, and improve overall skin texture.
Key Ingredients: 5% pure L-ascorbic acid, hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica extract, and a combination of peptides, to provide powerful antioxidants, nourish the skin, and reduce inflammation.
Alcohol/EOs/Colors/Fragrance: It contains Lavender and Orange essential oils.
This has been on my list for a while because of all the hype around it. It feels a little warm on application but doesn't cause any irritation and the feeling dissipates quickly.
The serum has an oil-like texture and though it feels very lightweight and absorbs well, I do still feel the slip when I go in with the next product in my routine. Although this product contains essential oils, it didn't cause any adverse reactions on my sensitive skin. However, those with very sensitive skin or known allergies may want to patch test first.
I've been using this for about 2 months now and haven't seen a significant improvement in my hyperpigmentation or acne spots. However, it does provide noticeable brightening and nourishing effects by working as an antioxidant and preventing free radical damage.
As I mentioned, I didn't see any improvement in pie or pih but it did seem to show some overall brightening effects.
There is also the presence of essential oils which I think might hurt the experience for people with sensitive skin.
