The VC-IP 1.0 firming serum contains Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate which is an ester that converts into Vitamin C on the skin. This is more oxygen stable and less irritating than ascorbic acid. It also contains alpha-arbutin and bakuchiol which is touted as an alternative to retinol, but it is not. It does help with anti-aging. I really like this serum, although I've not used it long enough to see any firming effects. It's very gentle, non-irritating and it absorbs quickly. It's really nice.
