Mineral Sun Stick SPF50+/PA++++
BENTON Mineral Sun Stick Review 〰️
I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Benton mineral sun stick, and I have to say, I’m really impressed! Not only does it provide high protection from the sun’s harmful rays, but it also has a soft, powdery finish that makes it perfect for on-the-go touch-ups
One of my favorite things about this sun stick is the velvety, balm-like texture that glides smoothly onto the skin. It’s lightweight and non-greasy, and it doesn’t leave any white cast noticeable or sticky after-feel. Instead, it feels comfortable and nourishing on the skin.
It features:
〰️Zinc Oxide
〰️Titanium Dioxide
〰️Triple Hyaluronic Acid
〰️Vitamin E
〰️Glycerin
It’s worth noting that Lab Muffin Beauty Science recently conducted an experiment that found it takes approximately 34 layers of a sun stick to get full protection from the sun. That being said, I think the Benton mineral sun stick is best used as a top-up product rather than a standalone sunscreen. I found that it pairs really well with a sun lotion when I need to reapply during the day. I love applying it to the backs of my hands, ears, neck, scalp, décolletage & face for a non greasy easy application.
Overall, I highly recommend the Benton mineral sun stick to anyone in the market for a high-quality, easy-to-use sunscreen. It’s lightweight, effective, and perfect for anyone who needs to touch up their sun protection throughout the day.
✨Thank you to Benton for providing this product for review purposes - I can’t wait to incorporate it into my daily routine!✨
Always read the label and follow directions for use. Sunscreen is only one form of sun protection. It is important to also wear protective clothing, hats and eyewear when exposed to the sun. Seek shade where possible. Prolonged high-risk sun exposure should be avoided. Re-apply often, more frequently after sweating, swimming, or towelling off. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Do not use on damaged or broken skin. Store below 30°C.
Sun sticks in general are not so great as a stand alone sun protection method so always apply it with another method such as a top up throughout the day to ensure you are protected.
Can have a slight white cast upon first application but all sun products should be gently rubbed into the skin for best protection. Whitecast will settle into the skin after a short amount of time. If you do apply around 34 layers you will notice it more but its not drastic.
Not suitable for darker skin tones unfortunately.
Smells like a normal zinc sunscreen, not overly bothersome
