One of, if not /the/ most affordable sunscreens I've seen š This product went viral in SEA regions because of the price point. Can't say I wasn't skeptical š, I patched test this and luckily had no issues or irritation.
Using the 2-fingers method, blending this wasn't an issue for me. The finish is semi-matte with no tackiness whatsoever which is great āØ. It also has a soft lotiony scent.
Overall, this product fared really well on me - it did not make me greasy at the end of the day š Do note that I have dry, dehydrated skin and tested this indoors.
Here comes the cons - the noticeable white cast. On my skin tone it blends out fine and looks like a subtle tone-up āØ, but I can see how it becomes an issue if you use too much product.
It also tends to settle into crevices on the face (eg: wings of the nose) and infatuates the bumps on my skin š
While I was stoked with the performance of this non-comedogenic SPF, it unfortunately contains 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor, which was cited by European researchers over concerns of thyroid toxicity & hormone disruption. It's a ā ļø7 on EWG's toxicity scale and not approved in the US/Japan.
It's such a pity, it performed fairly well for me but I'm not comfortable, and personally would not recommend this to anyone for safety reasons āļø But if you're looking for a cheap, emergency alternative - by all means.
