Black Girl Sunscreen - DanielleSkin27 review for Make It Pop Lipgloss with SPF 50

It’s pretty hard to find good lip SPF products in the US with a high SPF, most that are widely available here are only SPF 15 or 30. But BGS recently released this Make It Pop SPF 50 Sungloss and I had to try it. And honestly, this is the best US lip SPF product I’ve found so far! This is a thick gloss, but not sticky or messy. It has no fragrance but does have a slight sunscreen taste to it. I highly suggest removing before eating or drinking and that helps with the sunscreen taste. It does leave a film on your lips when you wipe it off though, which I don’t care for. Otherwise, it stays on fairly well and lasts quite a while, I don’t feel like I need to reapply too often just to have a nice thick layer continuously on my lips for protection. It’s easy to reapply and doesn’t get sticky or heavy with multiple applications. It protects and hydrates lips well. I love that it’s a gloss and you can easily layer it on top of a lipstick or lip tint if you want some color, or just wear it alone for some shine. Very affordable price point at only $8.99 as well! Currently available at Ulta and on the brand’s website, but Black Girl Sunscreen is carried at both Target and Walmart so hopefully it will be released at those stores as well.
