10% Azelaic Acid Booster
⭐️Paula’s Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster⭐️
You probably know by now I love using actives in my skincare regime. Today I would like to talk about one of my favourite ingredients that I have incorporated for a good few years, 10% AZELAIC ACID by Paula’s Choice.
WHAT IS IT?
It’s a natural ingredient that can be found in wheat, rye and barley. Azelaic Acid can be used to fade brown spots, brighten skin and tackle breakouts. It is suitable for all skin types.
KEY INGREDIENTS
-Adenosine
-Azelaic Acid
-Salicylic Acid/BHA
-Plant extracts
⭐️WHY I LOVE IT⭐️
Paula’s Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster is a cream with a smooth and elegant consistency. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any oily, sticky feel. During my morning skincare routine, I would apply it straight after cleansing and toning.
It’s such a wonderful and powerful multi-tasker to include in your skincare routine. For me it truly helps with my breakouts, all those inflamed angry spots that take weeks to calm down and leave such dark marks behind!
Paula’s Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster also helps to reduce the inflammation, prevent bacterial infection and ease away any post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It also helps to calm any redness I might have, especially around my nose. In addition to these properties, Azelaic acid is also an antioxidant that contributes to manage my skin texture.
I love that the formula also contains salicylic acid to gently exfoliate and unclog pores which in turn prevents further breakouts. Along with salicylic acid, there’s also plant extract such as Licorice Root Extract which helps to even out and brighten my complexion.
With so many great properties, this multi-tasker is so well tolerated, I don’t really have any reaction/irritation to it even at the initial incorporation. It always plays well with my other active ingredients in my routines and I have tried many alongside it!
Great product for many of skin issues!!!!
