All Clean Balm
I took advantage of the latest Stylekorean “Ready Set Glow” program, which offers 3 full sized products for $9.99 in exchange for an honest review. I love how this promotion lets you try new products for an awesome price.
This review is for the Heimish Cleansing Balm which comes in a 120ml plastic tub with a flip-top lid & spatula. It is a multi transforming balm with a thick sherbet texture that melts into the skin like an oil, and turns milky once you add water.
Key Ingredients:
🔸Shea Butter
🔸Coconut Extract
🔸Citrus & Botanical Oil Blend
🔸White Flower Complex (Jasmine,Lily, etc)
🔸Several Essential Oils
My Experience: I have tried this cleanser before, but it was several years ago before they reformulated it. The last time I used this cleanser, it had a screw on top, but prefer the newer version, since you can just pop it open. Other than the packaging change, the cleanser itself is still great!
I use this at night to remove any makeup and/or sunscreen, taking a scoop onto dry skin, massaging it on my face and neck. It spreads easily, turning into an oil to cleanse off everything effectively. Once you add water, it emulsifies into a milky texture that easily rinses off. It removes all makeup except waterproof mascara completely, but I use a separate eye makeup remover. (Unsure if this stings eyes or not)
I like how it doesn’t irritate or strip skin, and it doesn’t leave a filmy residue. It does contain several essential oils that give this balm the herbal/citrus scent. These EOs may cause irritation if you have sensitive skin although product is marketed as hypoallergenic.
However I do think this is one of the better cleansing balms out there and would repurchase again.
Scent is a little strong and I prefer unscented cleansers, so took off 1 star, but if unscented would be almost perfect
