Propolis Energy Balancing Cream
I was one of the lucky 90 Canadians chosen as a tester and to receive this product for free in exchange for this review & I am truly grateful. From what I understand this is a new packaging design for this product and I love the colour, feel and simplicity of the packaging. While I do love products that come in little jars, they do seem to keep better in a tube as the product is exposed to the air far less, so I do appreciate the tube design.
I always check out the ingredients on any new product I try out because my skin is sensitive and I found some great and a few "new to me" components in this cream like Propolis extract, glycerin, squalene, sunflower seed oil, asparagus extract, garlic bulb extract, pea seed extract, mallow extract, soybean extract, potato pulp extract & tocopherol. Now of course I am familiar with some of those ingredients but asparagus, garlic, peas and potatoes are something I have not seen in skincare before & I think they are quite intriguing.
I found this cream has a beautiful lightweight gel cream texture that I find feels refreshing on my dry parched skin. I definitely plan to continue using this product on the hotter days during the summer months as a cooling treat for my skin. I like that it absorbs quickly & leaves my skin feeling very hydrated with just a kiss of glow. On days that I need a bit of an extra moisture boost this layers well as the extra boost and it works with my other skincare products. Overall I would say this product is great for all skintypes but might need to be layered with heavier products during the dry cold winter months if you have dry skin.
If ýou have very dry skin you may need to layer this with a heavier product to get enough moisturization
