Despite its claim to be fragrance-free, it does, in my opinion, have a faint citrus scent, which I don't find bothersome. It is packaged in an airless pump that accurately delivers a pea-sized amount while protecting the product from external contamination. Considering this is the first time I've incorporated bakuchiol as part of my routine, I can say with certainty that it's safe for sensitive skin and excellent for retinoid beginners. When applied, this feels light and melts into the skin like butter. This leads to a glossy, hydrating finish. No irritation or sensitivity occurred. After several uses, I noticed my skin was smoother than ever, and that the appearance of the pores had been slightly diminished. I don't anticipate the effects to be as noticeable right away, because this is a retinol substitute.
