[Discontinued] Mid-day Blue UV Shield
I'm sure you've all heard of Klairs Midnight Blue line but if you haven't, this line is targeted towards calming irritated skin. Guaiazulene is the main ingredient of all products in the collection, and is a superfood ingredient that does wonders for calming, soothing, and nourishing irritated, inflamed skin. Klairs recently launched a new & improved version of their Mid-Day Blue UV Shield, which is formulated with Guaiazulene to help protect and soothe skin from UV rays.
This is a physical mineral sunscreen with SPF 50+ PA++++. Contains zinc oxide and titanium dioxide to protect your skin against UVA/UVB rays. It has a lightweight formula that leaves behind no greasy residue or white cast.
Since I have lupus I have to wear sunscreen at all times whenever I am out, even though I have honestly always hated wearing it.. until now! This product feels much more like a moisturizer than anything, which I am absolutely thrilled about. It has a lightweight, airy consistency that absorbs quickly into the skin and isn't tacky nor greasy.
This sunscreen does have a natural tone-up effect and a semi-matte finish that feels very hydrating long after applying, leaving my skin feeling fresh for hours. The best part? No white cast!
Ever since I began using this my skin has been much less red and inflamed. There is a slight fragrance that I find very pleasing-- it is very light so I don't think anyone would have problems with it.
None! Love this sunscreen.
