Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner

product review positives
*I received this product for free from Picky and @acwell_global in exchange for my honest review. Contains: •licorice root water (calming, anti-inflammatory) •green tea extract (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory) •Perilla ocymoides seed oil (anti-inflammatory) •citric acid (AHA) ⚠️surfactants commonly used in micellar (cleansing agents) •tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E that isn't as well absorbed by skin, but is very stable) ⚠️limonene, linalool, bergamot fruit oil 💗Despite not having a good experience with leaving surfactants on my skin (micellar waters), this has not caused me any irritation whatsoever! ✨I do not use this as any kind of cleanser, it's just a toner for me. 💧+ Its consistency is very watery, but when applying it on the skin is when you'll feel there's more substance in the formula than expected. My skin feels plump and velvety after, just very hydrated. ✨💖✨What I most love about this is that this toner gives me the OG of "glass skin:" Honey Skin. The Glass Skin trend got big in the US, but 꿀광 was always the more popular predecessor. Honey Skin is nourished skin, plump and dewy skin, whereas Glass Skin seems to be a more of a watery surface radiance. *Have you tried licorice in skincare before? I remember a licorice product that I tried decades ago from Acne.org that made me realize how nice licorice can be for inflamed acne and redness in skin. 💗💗💗This toner ranges from about $14-$18 USD. I will absolutely be ordering one when I run out!
product review negatives
🍋I personally love the lemony fresh scent of the essential oils, but I wonder if it might negatively effect sensitive skin.
